The site for the new HourGlass building is on the Parnassusweg. It will include office space for the law firm Loyens & Loeff as well as an apartment hotel, catering facilities and a two-storey car park.

The building is inspired by the work of Romanian sculptor Constantin Brâncuși and shaped – as the name suggests – like an hourglass. The light stone facade and the warm use of materials give HourGlass a classic and international vibe. A large glass entrance hall will be constructed on Parnassusweg. The spacious lobby is rich in natural light, providing the perfect welcome to Loyens & Loeff’s staff and visitors as well as guests of the 115 luxuries ‘premier suites’, which cater to people visiting Zuidas for longer periods. There will also be a first-class restaurant.

The total office surface of HourGlass is approx. 21,000 sq m office space.

HourGlass is located in the heart of the Amsterdam Southaxis area and in the direct vicinity of a wide range of amenities such as restaurants, coffee bars, gyms, retail shops and a supermarket. After the initial office developments, the South Axis has now transformed into a vibrant mixed use 24/7 lively area of international allure.

The above mentioned floor area is in accordance with a NEN 2580 measurement report.

Delivery level
The office space at the 11th floor will be delivered in a core and shell plus state, including carpeting, a pantry and several meeting rooms.
The building related technical delivery level includes amongst others:
- representative entrance hall and lift lobbies of premier suites will be accessible for the subtenant;
- net floor height of 2.70 meters;

Het plot van het nieuw te bouwen gebouw Hourglass is gelegen aan de Parnussusweg. Het biedt kantoorruimte, onder meer voor advocatenkantoor Loyens & Loeff, een appartementenhotel, winkel- en horecaruimten en een parkeergarage voorzien van twee lagen.

De architectuur van HourGlass is geïnspireerd op het werk van de Roemeense beeldhouwer Constantin Brâncuși en heeft de vorm van een zandloper (‘hourglass’). De lichte natuurstenen gevel en het warme materiaalgebruik geven HourGlass een klassieke en internationale uitstraling. Aan de Parnassusweg komt een grote glazen entree. De lichte en ruime entreehal verwelkomt zowel de bezoekers van Loyens & Loeff als de gasten van de 115 luxe ‘premier suites’ voor mensen die langduriger in Zuidas verblijven. Er bevindt zich ook een eerste klasrestaurant.
